30th Naga Students Federation general conference held at Ukhrul ground Wino bazar

UKHRUL,25 Aug'23: THE 30th Naga Students Federation ( NSF) the apex students organisation of the Naga community covering all the Naga inhabited areas was held at Ukhrul Town ground Wino Bazaar here for three day starting Thursday.
Under the theme, " Solidarity beyond Borders" the 30th NSF general conference was kicked-off on 24th Aug & concluded on 26th Aug, 2023 at Ukhrul Town, Manipur.
The General Conference was one of the biggest Students conference
of the Nagas.
It is pertinent to mentioned that NSF is the apex Students Organisation of all the Naga community covering all over the world beyond borders.
Nevertheless, the Conference of the NSF is to be seen as one largest Naga platform to strengthen the spirit of 'Oneness' among our Nagas brethren, brothers and sisters, and reinforce cultural and emotional bond among the Nagas living across the borders.
During the three day long program Dr Lorho S Pfoze MP( outer Manipur)and Eno. Achumbemo Kikon former NSF president and MLA, Nagaland was the special guest whereas, Dr Kekhrielhoulie Yhome MLA and advisor school education & SCERT, Nagaland attended as the honoured guest
Honoured guest MLA Yhome on his inaugural speech said that the position of Nagas is clear that Nagas will never compromise with our land .Despite our Diversity, despite our differences ,and despite our geographical cap a lot of good changes take place and NSF was founded as a federation in 1947 for a political cause to achieve our political aspirations,he exhorted.
Eno Prof.GT. Thong, Pro- Vice Chancellor, Nagaland University Kohima Campus, on his speech as a Theme speaker stated that "Solidarity beyond Borders" should be our commitment to strengthen ourselves and care for our people with concern for justice no matter where they are beyond borders. Solidarity would allow us to understand our sufferings. If we are to survive as people and live with dignity and leave a legacy to our children, we have to respond today and vigilant guard against all other forces.
Together in unity, the Nagas can achieve anything. Divided houses can only bring suffering and untold miseries. How many lives do we have to sacrifice to realise our folly. Dedication to unity and oneness is the essence of this conference. Though divided by state and international boundaries, the Nagas can be one beyond borders. Let us together ensure the legacy of the NSF. Long live the Nagas, the Prof.added.
Earlier in the morning session Rev. Dr. Banner Makan, chief operating officer,TNBC dedicated the MONOLITH and unveiled by Dr.Kekhrielhoulie Yhome MLA of Nagaland at Nayi Kaphung, Hunphun 12 kms away from Ukhrul town.
The conference was participated by, NSF federating units like, All Sumi Students Union( ASSU - Nagaland), All Zeliangron Students Union( ASSUI Nagaland), Anal Lenruwi Tangpi( ALT), Angami Students Union ( ASU), Ao Kaketsir Mangdang( AKaM), Chakesang Students Union( CSU), Lamkang Karchuknao Kumpun((LKK), Lotha Students Union( LSU), Mao Students Union( MSU), Maram Students Union, Maring Students Union( MSU), Monsang Students Union, Moyon Students Union, Pochury Students Union( PSU), Poumei Naga Tsitumei Me( PNTM), Rengma Students Union( TSU), Tangkhul Katamnao Shaklong( TKS) and it's subordinate units such as, Naga Students Union Dimapur, Diphupar, Aizawl, Ahmednapur, Kolkata, Bangaluru, Chenai, Delhi, Gujarat, Guwahati, Mangalore, Mumbai, Phagwara, Prayagraj, Pune, Shillong, Medrophema Campusi, Lumami Campusi, MASU, SETAM, Merima Campusi and Society for Naga Students welfare Kerala etc .
Nevertheless, on day-1 evening program Ukhrul MLA Eno.Ram Muivah attended the programme and on day-2 was also attended by NESO, ENSF, Khashi students Union, Meghalaya and UNC where they deliver a special speech of greetings on the occasion.
Cultural dance troop from Tangkhul Nagas of Myanmar and the Trio- band from Dimapur, Nagaland, Guru Reubin Mashangva and various prominent singers perform an enthralled the jamp-back audience.
