Two Myanmar bound Trucks seized with 300 fertilisers bags

IMPHAL, July,5,2022: THREE HUNDRED bags of fertilisers (Urea) were seized from two trucks heading towards Myanmar from Imphal along Tiddim road at Kholmun village in Churachandpur district, Manipur on Tuesday, police sources said.
Manipur Police team, during night patrolling, intercepted the two trucks loaded with Indian Origin Fertiliser, which were moving from Imphal to Myanmar via Behiang along Tiddim road at Kholmun village area in Churachandpur district on Tuesday at around 1.20 am, the police said.
The trucks bearing registration number MN04P-0635 and MN05C-2706 and the driver has been identified as Chinthengthang,(22)s/ Kapmuankap and Chinsuanlam, (28) s/o Khaikhalian; both are from Saiboh Village, Sangaikot subdivision, the police added.
The source said that the fertilisers were seized when they were about to be exported to a foreign country without any valid authority, the police said, adding that the fertilisers were handed over to custom authority for further action.
