 TNL observed 6 Anniversary of Indo- Naga Framework Agreement

UKHRUL,Aug'3,2021:   THE Naga political movement is all about land and it's people because land represents economic, political and social power and identity of the people. People’s based revolutionary movement revolves around the land. Significantly, land is the driving force of the people’s movement said TNL. 

The 6th anniversary observation of 'FA' was organised by Tangkhul Naga Long(TNL) at it's conference hall, View land, Ukhrul and  participated by  various frontier organization of the district. 

Former director of Tangkhul Theological Association (TTA) Dr. YL Mingthing was the chief guest and president TNL Qr. Hopinson A. Shimray gave the welcome address  during the program. 

Earlier before the participants enter the hall they assembled at the TNL gate and hoisted the Naga 'National Flag'  symbolize the covenant between God and Naga people to make Nagalim captivatingly enchanting.

 No wonder Nagalim geographical structure is endowed with various tribes that share a common traced origin and historical tradition. They are culturally homogeneous, inhabit a common contiguous territory and have a common desire and expressed free will to exist as one people, explains one elders. 

"Nagalim” when translated in significantly, the primary goals of the Naga nationhood are sovereignty, territorial integrity and political identification. NSCN have already defined Nagas’ political goals by signing the historic Framework Agreement (FA) with the Government of India on the 3rd August, 2015. Consequently, we shall stand the ground to defend FA in letter and spirit  the chief guest amplified. 

Meanwhile, the 12 hours total shutdown call by UNC in Nagas areas and GPRN/NSCN(IM) in Nagalim was concluded peacefully without any untowards incident till the time of filing of this reports.
