UKHRUL,Aug'4,2021: THE global pandemic Covid -19 cases is still unable to bring down in the state, the authority has speed up mass Covid -19 vaccination across the state.
So far, as many as 13,47,537 people above the age of 18 has been vaccinated in the state. The total population of the state is around 30 lakhs. That means thet state authority has successfully vaccinated around 60% of the total population.
However,the number of people who gets second dose vaccine stands at around 3 lakhs as of today(4th Aug'21).
Around 12 lakhs people have got the first dose population.
The state had lost as many as 1592 people due to Covid -19. Of this 36 people were succumbedt to Covid 19 in the last three days of August.
With an aimed to gain herd Immunity state health department authority had speeded up the mass vaccination programme in association with respective constituencies MLAs and local CSOs members.
